The National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB), a constituent Board of the QCI, provides accreditation to Certification, Inspection, and Validation/Verification bodies as per international standards and requirements, to ensure technical competence, impartiality, quality and compliance to applicable standards/regulations. It is a full member of international & regional bodies – the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC), and the Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC), and is an IAF MLA Signatory, ILAC MRA Signatory, and APAC MRA Signatory to multilateral Mutual Recognition Arrangements (MRAs / MLAs), which facilitates international equivalence and acceptance of accredited conformity assessment (certifications, inspections, & validations/verifications).
